Not even two seconds later, Felix walked over with a dark expression.

“Ulyssa, what are you doing on our wedding day? Just over a dress, you make me lose face in front of everyone. Do you know how many elders are watching?”

“Stop making trouble, alright? Tracy is just my sister. She tried on your dress for fun. So what? No matter what you wear, you’re still my wife.”

He didn’t mention my feelings at all. His mouth was full of blame, as if I were the one causing him trouble.

After speaking, he grabbed my hand and tried to drag me onto the stage by force.

I couldn’t hold back anymore. I let out a soft laugh, shook off his hand, and spoke even more clearly than before.

“I told you, I’m not making trouble. Felix, I’m simply not getting married.”

He rubbed his forehead, letting out a helpless laugh as though dealing with a stubborn child.

“Ulyssa, what do you want? You’re really still hung up on the dress?”

“Is it worth it? Fine, I’ll have the emcee buy a new one from somewhere nearby. Come up with me and finish the ceremony first, alright?”

After saying that, he shot me a look that allowed no refusal, then turned to instruct the emcee.

He never once asked why I didn’t want to marry him.
