He stared at her for a moment, then leaned in and kissed her. “I know…”
Right beside Luna’s hospital bed, the two of them kissed passionately. When their desire reached its peak, Violet even pinched Luna hard on the arm.
Luna bit her lip so tightly, forcing herself not to make a sound.
An hour later, Morgan finally pushed Violet out of the room. “Don’t show up in front of Luna again.”
She only shrugged and pinched his waist playfully. “Morgan, let’s play a little game, hmm? I put some pollen in your wife’s tea. If you make her drink it, I’ll give you a big surprise tonight.”
Luna’s heart nearly stopped upon hearing that. She was severely allergic to pollen. Even a small amount could close her throat and stop her breathing. And Morgan knew this all too well.
He frowned, about to say something, but Violet had already walked away, swaying her hips as she left.
When she was finally gone, Morgan turned back to the room, only to see Luna struggling to sit up.
He rushed to her side. “Luna, you’re still sick. Don’t get up. Tell me what you need, I’ll take care of it.”
Luna said nothing, quietly leaning back against the headboard.
