Turning my head to look at Stanley, I found that his gaze was fixed tightly on me.
“Selene, what are you doing? Just because of a small matter, you make such a fuss with me and even run away from home?”
He looked at me and scolded loudly, “Today, I just want to take you back!”
“Selene, what’s going on?” The village chief walked up to me and asked.
Before I had time to speak, Stanley quickly spoke, “You’re the village chief, right?”
“I am Selene’s husband. I quarreled with Selene a little and she wants a divorce! I just want to take her back!”
Hearing Stanley’s words, the village chief immediately turned his head and looked at me, saying, “Selene, if it’s just a quarrel, then you should go back with him.”
The village chief’s words instantly changed my expression.
