Hearing my words, Brian was instantly surprised, then quickly asked, “What happened?”
“Stanley wants to kill me!”
I looked at Brian and said, “If he takes me away, I will definitely be killed by him!”
Upon hearing that, he immediately spoke, “Selene, don’t worry. No matter who it is, it’s impossible for anyone to take you away from this village!”
His promise finally made me feel at ease.
After returning to the village, Brian sent me back to the old house.
