Jazzy replied indifferently, shouting, "You’re not even my family. Why do you care so much about me?"

He continued down his dark path, lost in his own excesses.

Wanda couldn’t bear it any longer and confronted him again. "When will you become a good boy?"

Jazzy stepped closer to her and kissed her for the first time. It was a deep, lingering kiss that lasted for ten minutes. With their breath mingling, both of their eyes turned hazy and unclear.

For the first time, Wanda let everything go and held Jazzy tightly without hesitation.

Jazzy said with a hint of mischief, "If you want me to be a good boy, then you have to be my girlfriend."

This time, Wanda didn’t hesitate. "I promise you. I love you. I’ll love you to death in this life and I’ll never leave you."

Jazzy smiled and teased, "Really? Can you swear it?"

Without thinking, Wanda raised her hand. "I swear, I, Wanda, will love Jazzy until death. If I break this promise, God—"

Before she could finish, Jazzy silenced her with another kiss. That kiss was sweet—so sweet.

Wanda felt like her life had never been so free, so blissful, so utterly comforting.
