The person next to him laughed and said:

"Aren't you getting married tomorrow? Why didn't you say hello when you met, sister-in-law?"

I said coldly, "Who is your sister-in-law? Damien and I have already called off the engagement."

But I didn't expect that Damien would stick to me like a tamper-proof plaster.

"Scarlett, you're not serious, are you? I asked you to pay some money, and you want to cancel the engagement?"

"If this gets out, how will people view our family? It's embarrassing enough. You dare to embarrass me, but I can't afford to embarrass myself as a person."

Damien nonchalantly twirled the wine glass in his hand, looking up at me with a sneer.

"If you want to break off the engagement now, you have to compensate me 100 million."

What a big mouth the lion has.

I sneered and looked him up and down.

"I can't see why you are worth 100 million?"

Damien had an expected expression:

"I knew you couldn't afford it. Even if I sold your whole family, you still wouldn't be able to raise the 100 million, right?"

Damien simply waved his hand and asked several bodyguards around him to block my way.
