I stood there holding a large bowl of dishes, watching Olivia being kissed.
"Tommy, sorry, I got carried away playing. You don't mind, right?" Judas asked tentatively, his hand still resting firmly on Olivia's shoulder.
"I don't mind." I shook my head, set down the last dish, took off my apron. "Take your time eating. I've got something to do and need to head out," I said casually.
Olivia looked up and asked where I was going. I didn't answer.
For some reason, her expression turned very unpleasant.
I sat in the car, watching the surveillance footage from home. At some point, the two of them had already gotten tangled up together.
I immediately went upstairs and found another partner at the company, Lea, to process my resignation. Lea was surprised to see me at the office on a weekend and casually asked a few questions.
But she was reluctant to sign my resignation and tried to console me, "Tommy, you and Olivia have been together for ten years. How many ten years does a person get? Olivia is just looking for something new, she'll definitely come around soon."
I gave no comment, my face cold as I pushed the resignation agreement forward, "Lea, just sign it."
