Without waiting for a response, I shut my bedroom door.

As expected, there was a burst of yelling outside, then footsteps storming toward the door. But I had already locked it.

Olivia shouted, "Tommy, you got a temper now, huh? Making me lose face in front of someone like that?" After several rounds of banging on the door, silence returned.

I waited until I was sure they had left before stepping out.

Olivia didn't come home even by the next morning. That gave me just enough time to call the moving company.

I sent my luggage to the address Jade had given me. She said someone there would handle forwarding it abroad. She waited for me at the airport.

Before leaving, I took one last look at the place I had called home for so many years.

This was the house Olivia bought with her first big earnings. Back then, she put only my name on the deed, saying this was the home she was giving me. But now, she wanted to give a home to another man.

In the cab to the airport, I received a text from the City Hall, it was a marriage appointment made by Judas. I couldn't help but laugh.
