With one last glance at the fire, I grabbed the divorce agreement I had prepared after I was asked to leave the party last time. Thankfully, my good friend was able to make me this document in a rush. It was time to make this official.
When I returned inside, Eros was still on the phone with Daisy, completely ignoring me. I stood in front of him, holding the papers. “Sign this,” I said, my voice steady despite the pain. “It’s a pack issue agreement.”
Without even glancing up, he took the papers, signed them casually, and shoved them back at me. “Leave me alone now.”
I nodded, my heart breaking with every passing second. As I turned to leave, I whispered to myself, “I will. Forever.”
Remi's POV
I sat at the desk in the quiet corner of my bedroom, the weight of everything pressing on me. The pain, the betrayal, the rage—it all boiled together, clouding my thoughts. I had to do this. I had to leave, and for once, I wasn’t going to look back.
The pen shook in my hand as I began to write. It was hard to find the right words, but I knew I couldn’t leave without saying something. Something to Eros. Something to him that would mark the end of everything I had ever thought was real between us.
