There was a slight tremor in her voice and she seemed to be under tremendous psychological pressure.
“Yes… I’m sorry, brother and sister-in-law. It was my fault last night. I shouldn’t have caused you trouble.”
Harold frowned unhappily and looked at her blankly, as if he noticed something was wrong.
Beatrice never treated the people he brought back with a good face. He would only call them “that woman”, never call them sister-in-law and never apologize.
Seeing Harold’s hesitation, Viola changed the subject in time.
“Okay, Beatrice, although I am your sister-in-law, I am actually younger than you. I heard you graduated. Is there anything you like? As your sister-in-law, I haven’t given you a graduation present yet!”
Beatrice shook her head like a rattle.
She just wanted to stay away and didn’t want to feel their happiness.
But Harold rubbed Viola’s head and agreed, “You’re thoughtful.”
He turned his head and glared at Beatrice fiercely, gritting his teeth.
“Don’t be so petty. Take this opportunity to give your sister-in-law a gift and apologize.”
She said that Viola came to buy her a gift.
But wherever Viola’s eyes passed, Harold covered it all for her.
