My mother had been seriously ill for many years and her only wish was to witness her daughter's wedding. For this reason, I pestered Stanley for five years. When he rejected me for the hundredth time, I finally decided to give up.

I turned around and agreed to my sweetheart Charles who had been waiting for me. We were in love for hundreds of days and he promised to make me the happiest bride in the world.

Just when I thought with joy that I had finally found happiness, I unexpectedly overheard his conversation with Sally.

"As long as you and Stanley can be happy, it doesn't matter if I marry someone I don't love. Let me organize the last birthday party for you. I want to see you happy with my own eyes, even if the person who gives you happiness is not me."
