"Look where you're going, weirdo," one of them mocked, and the others erupted in laughter.

I wasn't surprised by their remark, I was accustomed to being treated like an outsider. As the daughter of one of the strongest Alpha, Alpha Owen of the Shadowfell pack people expected me to possess unique abilities just like the rest of my family. But that wasn't the case, I didn't even shift at eighteen like everyone else. I was a weak link, a letdown to my father.

Because of this, he showered his attention to my brother who was to succeed him as the next Alpha, and cast me aside like some nobody.

But Ethan saw me. He cared for me as I was, and nothing else mattered.

I kept going up the stairs, my heart pounding with anticipation. I got to Ethan's dorm room and noticed the door was open a bit.

I started to push it open, ready to go in when Ethan's voice reached my ears.

"I'm so excited to see her tonight, dude," he said, and my face lit up with a bashful grin. No doubt, he was referring to me.

Then I heard Jack, Ethan's roommate ask, "What's your plan for your little sister now that Amanda's back?"

Amanda? Who is Amanda?
