Silas's voice echoed in the living room as he gasped, "I'm still here, and you dare to bully Ella so openly. Do you think I'm dead?'
Natalee rushed to hug Rhianna and turned to angrily shout at Silas, "Dad, if Grandpa finds out how you're treating Mom, you're in big trouble."
Silas's oppressive aura immediately dissipated, and he grudgingly fell silent. He hesitated to help Rhianna up, so I discreetly stepped forward.
Silas snorted as if he had gained confidence, "So what?"
A hint of sarcasm flashed in my eyes. "Silas was to physically assault his wife merely for the immediate benefits he hadn't seen. This is in line with his style."
The doctor arrived quickly. After treating the wound on Rhianna's forehead, she specifically asked the doctor to check the scratches on my arm.
She squatted beside me with a guilty look, "Ella, it's all my fault. I was too excited to see you, so I accidentally scratched you. Don't blame me."
I smiled kindly, "Rhianna, how could I blame you."
"Good, good child, don't worry. From now on, I will love you like my own daughter."

That night, I sneaked to the door of Silas and Rhianna's room, and sure enough, I heard intense arguments.
