I sat on the sofa sulking. At this moment, Lucas came back, he hugged me with both hands, pressed me against his chest and whispered to me, then he was asking me not to get angry because of Susan.

"Lucas Yates, I'm not against you having female friends, but don't you think you're getting too close to Susan?"

"No, Nicole, we're just ordinary friends."

"Lucas, if you can't keep your distance from Susan, then we should seriously consider our relationship."

After saying that, I turned and went into the bedroom.

Half an hour later, Lucas opened the bedroom door, got into bed, and hugged me from behind, agreeing to my request.

After that, I never saw Susan by Lucas' side again. Just when I thought our life had returned to the way it used to be, Susan caused trouble again.

Lucas and I were at a college class reunion when Susan called him.

"Lucas, I know I shouldn't disturb you, but this is the last time and I just want to say goodbye to you."

"Susan, what's wrong?" Lucas stood up from his seat.

Susan didn't say anything, but with the sound of the howling wind, we could hear the voices around her.

"Miss, don't do anything rash. No matter what happens, you can't jump off the building."
