Flash Marriage: Falling in Love with My Contract HusbandChapter 1 An Awkward Misunderstanding

"I don't wanna go on a blind date! This is so old-fashioned. I won't find any good men by going on blind dates, okay? So Mom, don't waste your time talking me into it."

I was 25 and now being forced by my mom to go on a blind date. I really felt this was ridiculous.

"Anyway, you have to go," my mom said.

"No!" I refused firmly.

"Fine. Then don't regret it," my mom sneered coldly.

Then, she said she wouldn't give me pocket money this week, and I cursed in my heart, Damn it. Not again, Mom. Is there anything else you can do? Anyway, I won't compromise this time. This is really outrageous.

I didn't want to admit it, but in the end, I compromised. Riding my scooter, I went to the place for the blind date with my pajamas and slippers on.

I sat by the window of the coffee shop, feeling bored as I looked outside. I clicked my tongue and muttered impatiently, "What's wrong with that guy? Still hasn't shown up? Looks like he's really crap at appointments and times."
