I felt ashamed of myself after what he told me. Perhaps, he was right. After all, I had everything I could ever dream of and Sabrina needed care more. So, I allowed them and concentrated on taking care of our packs.

But as time went on, Noah began to distance himself. His excuses to always be with Sabrina grew more. He started making decisions without consulting me and I was almost going to assume the worst when he told me that it was time we get joined officially and become one.

And then, the night of the photo came.

It was the eve of my Luna Ceremony when a mysterious screenshot appeared on my phone. Sabrina was showing Noah what appeared to be a baby scan. His expression in the photo was one of joy—celebration, even. My heart sank as I stared at the image, the reality of it crashing down on me.

Sabrina was pregnant and Noah was the father.
