We wandered through the market, admiring the elegant gowns on display. They were stunning, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder, imagining what it would be like to wear something so beautiful. Serena made me try on several gowns, and eventually, we settled on one called the “Frost Gown.” It was breathtaking, with shades of pale blue, silver, and white, cascading through its layers like a frozen mist.

“This gown is absolutely gorgeous, Serena. Don’t you think you’ve spent too much on it?” I asked, still in awe.

“It doesn’t matter,” She said with a playful wink. “I want you to look your best that night, okay?”

After a few hours of shopping, we also picked out a pair of heels and some accessories. By the time we were finished, it was already five in the afternoon, and we were both carrying an armful of bags. Despite the weight of the purchases, we laughed and chatted all the way back to the horse carriage, feeling lighthearted and content.

Once we settled inside, Serena suddenly tapped my lap excitedly, her face lit up with a playful grin. She giggled and pointed toward someone across the street. When I looked, I immediately realized why she acted that way.
