Usan's voice screeched behind me. "Daisy, just wait, I'll make sure you pay!"

I returned to my seat, and my deskmate, indignant on my behalf, said, "I saw everything. How could Andrew and Usan bully you like that!"

I shook my head, indicating that I had no idea either.

Usan had been making trouble for me since the beginning, ever since she transferred to our class this semester.

Stupid—that was my first impression of her. Not out of prejudice, but because it's a fact.

Usan was always muttering strange things, claiming she was destined to be the female lead of a grand story, and on her first day, she blocked Andrew, saying she had a crush on him.

Back then, Andrew even complained to me, saying how weird this new student was, always acting foolishly in front of him.

But gradually, those complaints turned into praises. Whenever we interacted, Andrew mentioned Usan more and more frequently. Perhaps even he didn't realize that Usan was already occupying a significant place in his heart.

He began to flake on me more often, always to be with Usan.

Later, Andrew personally asked the teacher to sit with Usan.
