Curious neighbors peered out from their windows, and I caught a glimpse of someone taking out a phone to record the scene.

I gently pressed Luna’s face against my chest, shielding her identity. I didn’t care about my own exposure, but it would be dangerous if anyone found out who Luna was.

“We shouldn’t delay, Lucy. Let’s head home to see Grandpa.”

“Yes, sir!”

Lucy opened the car door, and I climbed into the Rolls-Royce with Luna, with Lucy joining us inside.

Noticing the state of Luna’s hands, Lucy promptly retrieved a first aid kit from the car and knelt beside her.

“Little Miss, please allow me to tend to your wounds to prevent infection.”

Luna looked at me uneasily, and I gave her a reassuring smile before she offered her hand to Lucy.

As Lucy gently bandaged Luna’s hand, her eyes narrowed. “Sir, did the Robertson family cause these injuries? Would you like me to deal with them?”

Dealing with the Robertson family? I frowned at the thought.

“No, this is between me and the Robertsons. I’ll handle it myself.”

My tone was firm, and Lucy, clearly shaken, knelt fully on the floor. “Forgive my overstepping, Sir! Please grant me your pardon!”
