I met Jeff a year ago when we were helping a classmate during a gathering.
At that time, I didn’t have any feelings for him, but later, Jeff kept appearing around me.
He saved seats for me, helped me get food in the cafeteria, and even gave me warmers and hot soup during my period.
Finally, I decided to be with Jeff.
From childhood to adulthood, the people around me had always used money to solve problems. It had been a long time since someone had been as good to me as Jeff.
And so, I was moved and got together with Jeff.
Now I wanted to slap myself. I was so shallow to be moved by these things.
When I stood in front of Jeff, he still had that calm and composed look.
“Jeff, you’re quite good. Aren’t you afraid of getting caught?”
Jeff looked at me with indifference and disdain, without the deep affection and care he used to have.
“Isabella, you don’t have to say it like that. I didn’t understand love before, but now I’ve found true love, so of course I have to pursue it bravely.”
True love?
I laughed like crazy, “Just because she let you ride in a Mercedes-Benz?”
Jeff’s eyes changed as if he was surprised that I recognized that car.
