"Linda, what nonsense are you talking about?"
But I saw Giana's body trembling uncontrollably.
I smiled.
"I saw her standing there. She is asking me to go and talk to her for a few words."
"Why don't you wait for me? I'll go and comfort her. What if she follows us to the hospital?"
This trick worked. "If you don't do anything wrong, you won't be afraid of ghosts knocking on the door."
Giana was scared. She waved her hand and stood outside the door.
"Then hurry up. I'll wait for you outside the door."
I smiled and closed the bedroom door.
I wished Daisy could come back and see me. I missed her a lot, but she had never appeared in my dreams. She might blame me, her mother, for not protecting her well.
Twenty minutes later, I opened the bedroom door.
Giana was a bit anxious.
"Linda, can you hurry up? Paisley can't wait anymore. The doctor is very busy."
I made a hesitant look.
"But Daisy won't let me go. She said if I went to Paisley's hospital, she would stay at home and not leave."
Giana outside the door became suspicious. Hearing what I said, she became cautious.
"How about this? I'll ask Paisley and see if the doctor can come to our house to examine you."
