Henry's patience snapped, and he continued, "Do you even know who your fiancée really is?

"Out of the kindness of my heart, I'll tell you. Since our breakup, under the guise of healing, she's scammed my wife out of fifty million dollars and slept with over a hundred men! I've got hundreds of hotel bookings to prove it! If you need proof, I can send it to you."

On the other end of the line, silence fell.

My heart pounded so hard it felt like it would burst out of my chest, tears welling up in my eyes.

I prayed that Kyle wouldn't be swayed by his lies.

Henry heard no response. His brow furrowed in annoyance.

He continued, "You don't believe me? Fine. I'll send you an address, and you can see for yourself. Tomorrow is my wedding day, and she couldn't even wait to contact me, saying she wanted to spend one last night together. As a fellow man, I'm just giving you a heads-up. Don't be ungrateful!"

With that, he hung up the phone.

He quickly searched for a nearby bar's location and sent it to Kyle, a calculating gleam in his eyes.

The bodyguard finally released me, and I collapsed onto the ground.
