Right after Beckett arrived at the agreed location, Titus was already in the area.
He sighed, lifted his arms, glanced at the time on his watch and teased, "I have three hours left."
Upon hearing that, Beckett smirked and retorted, "Well, as you know, my baby is too clingy tonight. I can't say no."
Titus shivered and said, "Your heart's fluttering like spring."
However, Beckett slowly put on his gloves and smiled. "You can't understand the joy of a married man. You can't simply relate to me."
Titus was at a loss for words. He was on cloud nine collecting the corpses.
As the two of them finished dressing, they quickly got to work.
There was a lot of bad blood in the morgue. The underdogs were responsible for sweeping away human resentment.
And coming there was just to carry out a task.
"Once that task ends, we must return, as usual."
However, there were a lot of corpses in the world every day and naturally, there were corpse complaints every day. Perhaps the two of them would stay there for a lifetime.
After finishing their work that day, they smoked outside and chatted.
