"Felix, you wouldn't be so stingy, would you mind such a small matter?"
Small matter?
Since Carl returned from abroad half a year ago, such small matters had happened countless times.
In the past, because of my infatuation with Alice, I, unwillingly, chose to endure.
But today, the mocking gazes of the crowd were the last straw.
I didn't want to endure anymore.
I suppressed my anger and forced myself to smile.
I picked up the glass next to me and glanced at the crowd of onlookers around me.
Then I looked at the two people who were still immersed in their emotions.
"Why would I mind? Congratulations on your reunion after a long separation. And I wish you a long happy marriage."
The words caused a commotion in the room.
But the most unexpected thing was Alice's and Carl's reaction.
Alice had long been accustomed to my compromises and concessions in the last eight years.
Obviously, my words angered her.
The next second, she extended her finger, pointing at my nos and interrogating loudly.
"Felix Brown, can you be a little more decent? It's just a joke."
Glancing at the bridal bouquet in Alice's hands, I laughed from the bottom of my heart.
