The coffee spilled on her foot, and her leg turned red, not knowing if it was smashed or scalded.
Daniel walked over, with a cold face, and said to Vera without any politeness, "If you're here to dominate, then the crew may not be suitable for you. You should go to the mountains."
I couldn't hold back my laughter. I didn't expect Daniel to be so disrespectful to Vera, actually mocking her as a wild monkey.
Surprisingly, Vera didn't get angry. Instead, she apologized with a smile, "Mr. Joseph, you misunderstood. I'm kidding her."
She glanced at me with a threatening look.
I rolled my eyes at her and couldn't help but retort, "Who's playing with you? Am I a fool? How can you bully me as you please?"
Vera stared at me fiercely, as if saying that if I said another word, she would tear my mouth apart.
I kept cursing her, "Idiot."
Daniel squatted down beside me. He had a smile on his usually serious face. "You still have the energy to curse. It looks like you haven't fallen stupid yet."
I was speechless.
Then, to everyone's astonishment, he effortlessly lifted me up and walked straight towards his RV.
