"She owes me and my brother!"
Dean sneered, kicked away the wine bottles scattered on the ground, and turned to leave.
I looked at the familiar back and was about to leave. I didn't care about the dizziness and intense stomachache.
"Don't go... Let's go home, it's time to go home... Please..."
My hoarse voice did not make Dean stay. Instead, it made Linda excited.
She shook my body hard and roared word by word.
I couldn't hear her at all, but I understood what she was saying.
"Selina, he's not Edward!"
"He looks exactly like Jason, but he's a snake!"
"Edward is not here!"
Trembling all over, I struggled to find the hearing aid on the ground with tears streaming down my face.
Ignoring the glass shards and stains all over the floor, I finally found it in the corner of the sofa.
I wiped it clean, put it back on, and forced a smile.
"I know Edward isn't here, but I can't lose the things he sent me, or he'll be worried."
Linda couldn't hold it in any longer and roared at me.

"Your Edward is dead!"
"He is dead!"
In an instant, I felt a sharp pain in my heart.
I clutched my chest and spat out a mouthful of blood. My head buzzed.
