Jeff trembled all over and occasionally turned his head to plead with Mia.

His voice was filled with a sob. "Mom, I don't want to play in the water anymore. I want to go home."

I sneered in my heart. Jeff probably wouldn't be able to go home today.

Mia grabbed my arm with a serious face and said, "Who will take us back if you leave? Leave the car keys!"

In the end, Mia's plan was still aimed at my car.

I withdrew my gaze, turned my head, and smiled at Mia. "No problem, you guys enjoy yourselves."

I handed the keys to Mia and prepared to leave without looking back

Mia was very happy, holding the car keys and looking at them over and over again. "You are smart. If you're leaving, leave quickly and don't disturb me taking photos."

Ivy, on the bank of the river, nervously watched her grandson in the water, feeling extremely worried.

Seeing that I was about to leave, Ivy blocked my way and said, "Why are you leaving now? Can't you persuade Mia?"

I patted Ivy's shoulder and said, "Mom, Mia is Jeff's biological mother. She won't hurt him. Don't worry."

Hearing Ivy's words, Mia gave her an annoyed look and said, "Mom, if you can't stand it, then leave with her. Don't stay here and bother me."
