Once I was scrolling through my phone at 11 p.m. because of insomnia.

Then Aaron suddenly opened the door. I asked him what was wrong, but he asked me if I was hungry.

Yes, there were traces. I was too stupid!

After confirming that I had fallen asleep, Aaron gently closed the door. Then I heard his hurried footsteps.

I got up and was about to follow him.

My daughter, Clara, who was sleeping next to me, suddenly grabbed me and cried.

"Mom, my stomach hurts!"

Hearing this, I quickly turned on the light to check on her. She covered her stomach and burst into tears.

I asked her why she was uncomfortable, but she couldn't say anything. She just cried her heart out.

This had never happened before.

Her cry attracted Aaron.

We hurriedly took her to the hospital for an examination.

When we arrived, I asked Aaron to take Clara to the emergency room first. I registered at the front desk. Then I went to the father and daughter.

Unexpectedly, just as I finished my registration and walked to the door of the emergency room, I saw Clara hugging Aaron and said sweetly,

"Dad, did I do a good job as a sentry? Mom almost found you out! Fortunately, I pretended to have a stomachache immediately and held her back."
