Why was he so arrogant?
How dared he wear the necklace that I wore around my neck when I was alive!
Jacky's cell phone suddenly vibrated. He picked it up and took a look. Coldness flashed in his eyes.
I floated behind him.
The message was sent by Jacky's accomplice.
[Jacky, it's time to take action. Peter has probably guessed it.]
[Okay.] Jacky replied.
I was nervous.
I wanted to say, "Stacey!
"Run!
"You must not stay at Jacky's house tonight!"
Stacey looked up suddenly. Just as she was about to say something, she received a call from Peter.
"Peter? What? I'm in Sunshine Building. Is there any progress on the case? Okay, come pick me up. I'll be downstairs now."
Jacky showed a sinister look.
Stacey hung up the phone and looked at him helplessly.
"I can't accompany you tonight. Peter said there's progress in the case, so he's come pick me up now."
I was so happy!
I thought, "Peter, thank you!"
A hint of disappointment flashed across Jacky's eyes, but he still didn't give up and held Stacey's hand.
"Can't you stay with me tonight?"
Stacey shook her head and said coquettishly like coaxing a child.
"I'll accompany you tomorrow night."
Watching Stacey get into Peter's car, I finally felt relieved.
