I noticed there was a barely perceptible flash of panic in Bell's eyes and felt like my anger that had been pent up for many years had finally found an outlet to vent.
Every time I asked him to divorce in the past, Bell threatened me with Emily's custody. If it were in the past, I would definitely endure it for Emily until she went to elementary school. After I found a job, I would be able to fight for Emily's custody.
Emily had broken my heart in the past year. Since she liked Bell more, I would just let her live with Bell.
This was a good thing for all three of us.
But strangely, Emily and Bell were both panicked.
I went to the room to pack my luggage, and Emily came over quietly and begged me not to divorce Bell.
I originally thought that she couldn't bear to leave me, but when I looked into her eyes, I actually saw a hint of murderous intent in them.
My hands that were packing my luggage paused, and I felt scared.
Her looked didn't look like that of a 6-year-old girl at all.
I was extremely alert and said to Emily calmly, "I am just too sad."
Emily smiled sweetly, but her smile looked somewhat familiar to me.
