I was stunned for a long while, unable to believe it.

It turned out that I was so vicious in Joseph's eyes.

"Joseph, why is the baby not moving? Is he going to die?"

Norah's voice sounded sad. Joseph ignored me and quickly held Norah in his arms and comforted her.

"It's okay, I'll take you to the hospital right away."

I never heard him speak so gently.

But I quickly destroyed this warm atmosphere.

"Joseph, I'm pregnant. If you don't give me the medicine, I will die with the child."

The child was the only thing I had that could restrain Joseph.

There was silence for ten seconds, but it felt like a century had passed to me.

Finally, Joseph said angrily, "You'd better not lie to me."

Then, I received a message.

There was an address.

The doctor said the patient could die at any time.

I didn't have time to care about anything else but went to the address.

I knew this place very well because it was Joseph's residence. Every time I asked the assistant about Joseph's whereabouts, I always heard this address.

But this was my first time to be there.

Because this place was for Norah to live in, I was not qualified to be there.
