Arturo Armstrong's neighbor, Esther Fields, fainted at our engagement party.
Arturo left me and took her to the hospital.
I handled the mess alone, and by the time I finished, it was already late at night. Then I saw Esther's post. [No matter what happens, in Arturo's heart, I always come first.]
I casually commented, [I wish you two happiness together.]
Then I blocked her.
I received a barrage of calls from Arturo in the middle of the night.
As soon as I picked up, I heard him accusing me over the phone.
"Lynne Reynold, what are you up to again? Why did you block Esther for no good reason? She fainted again because of that. Don't you know she's ill? I've told you so many times. Don't make her angry. She can't take it."
I put the neatly folded clothes into the suitcase and walked to the balcony.
Outside was pitch black and cold.
"Are you calling just to say this?"
Arturo paused, but then his righteous voice came. "Or what? Are you going to say something about me and her again? I've told you countless times. Esther is like a sister to me. If your sister got sick and fainted, wouldn't you be worried?"
