"I was just playing along with her at the party because you told me to cooperate with the organizer. I really don't know where I went wrong."
I raised an eyebrow at Ian, directly exposing him, "Do you remember what you said to her on the day the movie wrapped up?"
Ian was stunned and burst with anger and shame in a moment.
"So you eavesdropped on us? Morgan, how can you say you love me when you don't even trust me? Do you have to monitor me all the time?"
I found his excuses somewhat amusing.
His ability to make excuses was becoming more and more proficient.
Feeling a bit tired, I didn't bother to deal with him. I rubbed my temples and said, "I have already signed the divorce agreement. I'll take you to court if you don't agree."
Hearing this, Ian looked incredulous.
He immediately confessed, "Yes, I said those words, but it was for a rehearsal, and they were just lines! You're making a fuss about a divorce without understanding the facts. That's not fair to me!"
I was shaken by his words for a moment, doubting whether I had misunderstood him.
"Morgan, I will not divorce!"
