He could only roar at me angrily.
"Alice, you are the last person qualified to criticize Sherry!
"Apologize to her right now!
"Or I'll cancel Tiffany's consultation and the wedding right away!
"With a sarcastic mother like you, she'd be better off dead!"
As soon as he finished speaking, my pent-up anger exploded. I quickly grabbed the glass ashtray from the table and smashed it on his head.
"Jay, don't you dare mention Tiffany to me! You don't deserve to! She doesn't deserve to either!"
With a loud crash, the ashtray fell to the ground in pieces.
Blood flowed down Jay's forehead from the wound, his eyes filled with malice.
The cigarette butt he had just put out was still smoldering, almost setting his hair on fire.
I glared at him fearlessly.
The next second, he rushed over and grabbed my collar.
"Alice, apologize!"
He practically spat out the words, his reason burned away by anger.
I clung stubbornly to his hands, gripping his collar, refusing to agree.
"Divorce! I have nothing to say to you! What you owe Tiffany, I will make you pay back bit by bit!"
My attitude completely drove him out of his mind.
He used his other hand to choke me by the neck.
