"Have you forgotten? In order to survive, you broke your legs and escaped."
He clenched his hands into fists and kept beating his broken legs.
I took a step back.
Noticing that, Luis stared at me with resentment in his eyes.
He murmured, "No, it shouldn't be like this."
"What should it be like?" I asked.
Gritting his teeth, Luis looked at me and asked word by word, "Why didn't you save me this time? You should have been the one with broken legs and burns. Why are you standing here now? Are you reborn too?"
I pretended not to understand and said in a confused tone, "Luis, what are you talking about? Reborn?"
He looked at me doubtfully.
Amy came upstairs and interrupted our conversation, "Luis, you need to rest well now. Take the medicine."
Luis looked at the medicine and shook his head.
Taking the medicine over, I put it into his mouth while pinching his chin.
"Luis, don't blame me. The doctor said that your condition is very bad now and you must take medicine on time.
"Am I good to you?" I smiled.
Luis was caught off guard and started coughing.
After a while, he reached out to me and asked, "Where's my phone?"
I sneered in my heart.
He was going to ask for help.
