She reflected on how widespread the impact of the disease can be. “Cancer touches so many lives — not only patients, but the families and friends and caregivers who walk beside them.”

“As anyone who has experienced this journey will know, it’s not linear. There are moments of fear and exhaustion. But also moments of strength, kindness, and profound connection.”

Middleton emphasized the need for compassion and reassurance, reminding those affected of “the importance of care, understanding and hope.”

“Please know you are not alone.”

Her Personal Journey

Middleton first revealed in March 2024 that she was undergoing cancer treatment. By September of that year, she announced that she was cancer-free.

“I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” she wrote on X at the time. “Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long, and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”

She also shared that she was “looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.”
