That’s exactly what happened when a photograph, taken just 21 kilometers from a populated area in Spain, began circulating on social media. A strange shape in the sky, almost unreal, seeming to defy any rational explanation.
A photo taken almost by chance
For Alfredo Lo Grossa, nothing suggested such a wave of attention. Living in Spain for some time, this lover of long walks and beautiful light wasn’t trying to capture anything extraordinary. That day, he was near the Spanish Mediterranean coast, enjoying a peaceful landscape where the calm sea blended into the horizon. His brother, camera in hand, snapped the photo without any particular intention.
It was only later, while looking at the image, that a detail stood out. There, above the sea, a silhouette appeared in the sky. A vertical shape, with arms slightly outstretched, instantly evoking a very familiar figure.
