Obviously, we expect the necessary measures to protect the health of citizens from the competent authorities in this matter.
However, when this does not happen, the manufacture of bottles with this compound has not been prohibited or at least warned on the product labels. The recommendation is to pay attention to recycling codes.
Recycling codes:
This indicates the type of plastic that was used for its manufacture, so when choosing a bottle, the label should be carefully observed.
Remember, the lower the number, the lower the risk it poses to our health. Basically, DO NOT buy products that are packaged with the numbers 3, 7 and 10, which indicate the presence of bisphenol A.
On the other hand, the bottles with numbers 1, 2, 4 and 5, indicate that the material is free of expandable polystyrene, phthalate and bisphenol A.
Recommendations:
DO NOT drink the water from the bottle that we leave in the car for 3 days and exposed to the sun, for example.
DO NOT use the same bottle more than 3 times to carry liquids, even if we have washed it very well.
The best and safest recommendation is glass bottles to fill with different liquids.
