1. Overnight Infusion

    • Place the slit okra pods and whole cloves in a glass jar with 200 ml filtered water.

    • Cover and refrigerate 8–12 hours; the water will turn slightly viscous as mucilage and clove actives leach out.

  2. Morning Blend

    • Remove the okra pods and cloves. Pour the infused base into a blender.

    • Add lemon juice, soaked chia seeds (gel and all), honey, grated turmeric, black pepper and ginger.

    • Pulse 10–15 seconds—just enough to disperse, not to heat.

  3. Strain (Optional)

    • If you dislike texture, pass through a fine mesh; otherwise consume as is for extra fiber.

  • Timing: Drink on an empty stomach in the morning or at least 2 hours after your last meal to maximise absorption.
