High cholesterol, high blood pressure, and bad habits like smoking can promote stroke. Below we list some warning symptoms of stroke.
Face. The muscles of the face lose strength on one side, you can’t smile and the eyelids of one eye can droop. It is one of the main warning symptoms of a stroke.
Arms. Those who are about to suffer a stroke may feel weakness or numbness in an arm.
Difficulty speaking. It is another of the main symptoms of a stroke. The person cannot speak clearly, and tends to babble.
Headache. An intense headache, if associated with one or more of the other symptoms indicated, could indicate an imminent stroke.
Balance. A person who is about to suffer a stroke has difficulty staying balanced or coordinating movements.
It is very important to call 118 or 112 immediately in case of one or more of these symptoms. Stroke is fatal but, if caught in time, the life of the person suffering from it can be saved.
