It didn't take much thinking to know that only Sally could make him so panicked by just one piece of news.
This was not the first time he has abandoned me. It was just that I was so immersed in the joy of getting married that I didn't realize it. Looking back now, he didn't even bother to cover up.
After he left, I sorted out all the gifts he gave me in the past hundred days. I was preparing to return it to him the next day.
But early in the morning, I received a call from the bridal shop. He said that the custom-made wedding dress had arrived and asked me to try it on.
"No, just return it. The wedding has been cancelled."
The clerk on the other end hesitated for two seconds and then said hesitantly, "This wedding dress is high-end custom-made and the deposit is five million. If you want to cancel, you have to come to the store in person to fill out the form."
After I rushed there, I just finished signing when I saw another more luxurious wedding dress being moved in.
The clerk's envious voice immediately reached my ears.
