I glanced at Ella, "You shouldn't forget that here who is the boss. I agreed for you to stay at my house, but it doesn't mean I have to serve you.
"I can kick you out anytime I want, as long as I want to."
Hearing my words, Ella bit her lip and looked at Lucas with a pitiful expression.
"Lucas, I'm pregnant and it's inconvenient. I just want Olivia to help me."
The sadness in her tone made it seem like I had done something to her.
Lucas glared at me and said, "Just go help her get a glass of water, okay?"
I coldly looked at him and said, "If I remember correctly, this is my house, and I don't have the obligation to take care of an outsider. If you insist on being generous, you can do it yourself."
I emphasized the word "outsider" on purpose, and Ella's face turned unnatural after hearing it. Lucas also looked embarrassed.
Seeing that I wouldn't back down, Lucas stuck out his neck and said, "I'll do it!"
He then walked over to the dining table and helped Ella get a glass of water.
Ella saw this and quickly got up.
I looked at her and said, "Where are you going?"
Ella said sadly, "I'm afraid Lucas might mess it up, so I'll do it myself."
